Robert Lee began practicing as a lawyer in Toronto, Canada in 1979. In 1981 he joined the international law firm Baker & Mckenzie and came to Hong Kong with that firm in 1984. After becoming a partner in 1986, he resigned to establish Robert Lee & Co. in 1988, which is the originating company of what has now become the InterAsia Law Group. He has concentrated on the general practice of corporate and commercial law in Hong Kong, Japan and China, with significant transactional experience in London, Thailand, Vietnam, Canada and the United States. His clientele comprises individuals and corporations from diverse nationalities.

Originally trained as a Canadian lawyer, he is also qualified in England (1983), California (1984), Hong Kong (1984), and Australia (1986). He was based in Hong Kong from 1984-95, in Tokyo from 1986-2001, and Shanghai from 2001-04. Robert currently spends half his time in Singapore and the other half of his time in Hong Kong and Tokyo, with frequent business trips around Asia and to Europe and North America on client matters.

Kenneth George Pereire

Kenneth George Pereire is a corporate lawyer and a non-executive director of InterAsia Business Services. He is a transactions lawyer and his work covers the full range of general corporate and commercial law matters, from mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions for international and multi-national companies, including securities and other regulatory and compliance matters. His M&A experience has included assisting both foreign and Singapore companies to acquire assets as well as shares in other entities and conducting extensive due diligence for both buyers and sellers. He recently completed an extensive asset sale and purchase transaction in India for a UK listed company.

In the area of securities and other regulatory work, he has considerable experience in assisting hedge funds, private equity firms, financial advisory firms as well as private family office clients in obtaining the relevant licences with the regulator in Singapore (MAS) and has assisted clients with all aspects of compliance and regulatory matters in Singapore including preparing legal opinions to MAS as well as drafting compliance manuals for fund management companies and private equity firms.

Based in Guangzhou, Raymond has collaborated with Robert Lee and the InterAsia Law Group since 2009. With extensive China market entry and growth experience, Mr. Law is the founder of several successful and complementary companies.

Ling Ming Ming (Hong Kong Office)

Ming Ming provides office secretarial support as well as translation services out of the Hong Kong office of InterAsia Business Services.   She is fluent in Cantonese, Japanese and English.

Karen Ng (Hong Kong Office)

Karen is the Office Accounting Administrator of the InterAsia Law Group and InterAsia Business Services.   She has been with the Hong Kong office for more than 10 years and handles book-keeping, billing and office administration.  She coordinates book-keeping, billing and administration across all of the InterAsia Business Services offices.

Nomura Joji (Tokyo Office)

Nomura is an experienced business executive with the Tokyo office of InterAsia Business Services.  He is involved in securing licensing applications from Japanese government departments, government liaison work and the established of corporate entities as well as corporate secretarial matters in Tokyo for clients.  He also handles trademark registration matters for clients in Japan.
